How to get to the Christmas markets in the Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr region? By public transport or by car, you will find on this page all the practical information.

The Ribeauvillé car park and shuttle service

  • Price: €8 per vehicle (including access to the Park-and-Ride and the shuttle for all occupants of the vehicle)
  • Location: Cordon (formerly Sony) - Muehlbach business park, exit 20 from the A35 motorway
  • Times: shuttles every 20 minutes, from 9.50am to 8.30pm.

Ribeauvillé

Price: free of charge

The campsite will open on Fridays from 1pm and close on Mondays at 1pm to allow for arrivals and departures. Please note: there is no service on site.

Bus parking and traffic (coach operators)

Ribeauvillé Christmas Market

During the Christmas market, buses are welcomed as follows: the vehicle is picked up at the Général de Gaulle car park, where a security guard will board the bus to guide the driver to the passenger drop-off point at the top of the town. The bus is then invited to park outside the town (Z.A. du Muehlbach - free parking). Passengers are collected from the Général de Gaulle car park.

Please note that the town of Ribeauvillé has made special arrangements for groups attending its Christmas Market: only buses staying for at least half a day at the Ribeauvillé Medieval Christmas Market are allowed to let their passengers off to go to the Christmas Market. Groups wishing to stay for less time will not be allowed to stop.

Riquewihr Christmas Market

  • Weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday):
Coach parking is subject to reservation on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, subject to availability and payment of a fee of 70 euros. Click here to book

Passengers are dropped off at Place Jean Monnet.

Buses are then invited to park outside: usually on Heftweg or Place Jean Monnet.

  • Weekdays:

Buses are parked in Place Jean Monnet. No reservation required. Price: €40 per day.

Bergheim Christmas Market

Passengers are dropped off at 74 route de Sélestat during the Christmas market.
Buses are then invited to park free of charge at the Cordon company car park in the Muehlbac business park.
